MISSION

Options Foundation is a non-profit agency that specializes in providing housing for homeless, mentally ill adults.

The primary mission of Options Foundation is to provide quality housing for persons with severe, chronic mental illness. We provide a caring atmosphere that enables our residents to build a life in a safe environment that stresses independence, responsibility and self-sufficiency within the community.

Options Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization dedicated to providing quality, affordable housing options for mentally ill adults. Options Foundation was organized in 1994 opening their first HUD Independent Living Project in 1999, offering 20 two-bedroom apartments serving forty individuals. Options further expanded and currently serves over 100 mentally ill adults.

The variety of housing options include Louisiana State licensed group homes and multiple independent living facilities with supportive services.
